Many thanks for all your kind comments. I painted this as a Christmas card for a former wife (hallo der ute!) who promptly threw it in the trash. A girlfriend of hers was present at the time and plucked it out, so it was spared for a while. Former wife thought it was too risqué in the horizontal position, so she pinned it to her bulletin board with the couple standing upright. Every time I noticed I would take the damn thing down and pin the couple in the supine (lying down) as I had intended it. In the end it looked like a pincushion. Oh well, so much for that marriage . . .
