Murble la Poof
NB: Somewhere in the back of my mind, lost in the clutter and junk that is my memory, roams a sneaky suspicion that I have used this illustration before. As long as it merely remains a suspicion (and a sneaky one at that), I think I’ll use it anyway.

16 have said their bit, now it's your turn:
Murble...
love your red balloon...
wanna play?
give me back my balloon.
This is so wonderfully weird. The colours are gorgeous; I could spend the whole day looking at them. Wow.
This is well done. I love how it inspires mystery and the colors are amazing!

I want to either read or write the story that goes with this. There's so much possibility here. I really enjoyed exploring this picture.
great, excellent and lovely work, a really nice interpretation of the subject!

Ha, ha. Hi margothere!
There exists – to my knowledge – no (written) story behind Murble la Poof and his red balloon. I once had a show in Oslo that was called something like ‘Illustrations to Unwritten Stories’ (Illustrasjoner til Uskrevet Historier). I guess that’s what a lot of my paintings could be considered.
If you have a good story idea for Mr. Murble please feel free to run with it. If it works perhaps I could do some more illustrations. And then Fame and Fortune are at our beck and call!
Cheers!

Many thanks riu sousa.

Ok this is a tricky situation you have here, since it is the past.
But you did use - mention this in the future and it came present today... Was I clear?
Oh and the illustration is fabulous, since the tree is holding "the balloon" as proof...
Well worthy of being one of your favorites!! Awesome line work and coloring.
Thank you, Heather - I'm glad you liked him.
incredible.
i really love your art mister.
Your kind comment is most appreciated, J.
